Workshop Description:
Immerse yourself in the vibrant world of hip hop music production with the Lynn Music Foundation’s exclusive workshop series. These sessions, led by the renowned T. Whyte, offer a deep dive into the art and science of creating compelling hip hop music.
Scheduled across four Wednesdays - starting April 24th and running through May 15th - at the esteemed Neal Rantoul Vault Theatre, this workshop is a treasure trove for aspiring hip hop producers and enthusiasts. Each session is designed to provide hands-on experience in various aspects of hip hop production, from beat making and sampling to lyric writing and sound engineering.
Under the guidance of T. Whyte, a respected figure in the hip hop community, participants will learn the nuances of crafting original hip hop tracks. The workshop will cover a range of topics, including rhythm and beat creation, effective use of digital audio workstations, and working with midi keys and drum pads.
